omg, this was so good.get cheap tortillas (mine were spinach wraps) then get a bag of shredded lettuce, a green pepper, a jar of manzanilla olives, and some pesto (either the olives or the pesto are strong enough to flavor the whole thing with just one or the other but I love both of them)

David Sedaris reads one of my favorite essays (from When You Are Englufed in Flames) on This American Life where he visits a morgue on Halloween. His poem inspired by the photo of “extensive mold on the face of a recluse,” is not one to miss.

Happy Halloween,

um cool

Today’s post is Dutch-themed (!) because I’m visiting South Dakota where my grandparents live and my grandma is Dutch.

So first let me point out that the store in the first picture is a magical Dutch store in Billings, MT where they have delicious soups and quiches and pastries and desserts and it smells amazing when you walk inside and the last two pictures are wall decorations! See that picture of the green wall with a bike leaning against it? That box is what stroopwafel comes in… if you’ve never had stroopwafel just — well just do it. Omg. Google it.

Another important thing is that in the first picture, you can’t see it but the far right window says, “A Touch of Dutch.”

The second and third pictures are things in my grandma’s bathroom. ;)
